Even though Christmas was lacking snow I still brought the holiday cheer in my 

gift (my dress has ornaments all over it). I love this dress because it is unique and fun for the holidays!

        I am currently studying Interior Design and I got the chance to go talk to some Interior Designers in a firm. I was super pumped so my first thought was to plan the perfect outfit. I hadn't gotten a chance to wear my first Kate Spade clothing purchase so I thought this was the perfect opportunity. Plus it was unseasonably warm for december! I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday!

A trip around my room!

    This is my mini Christmas tree I purchased at Whole Foods and the pot is from Anthropologie. I have recently discovered I have a love for plants so when I found this amazing pot I thought what better way to celebrate the holidays than by planting a mini christmas tree and decorating it! 

         This is my night stand with my water plant (see I have a lot of plants just within my room) and my canvas is something I created by myself. I put two fake plants with in the real plant to add color. 

This is my collection of trunks. The Pink trunk is from college, the light leather on is vintage and still needs  some repairing, and the other bag is my purse. I love the mixture of colors. 

My room is a vintage/chic vibe!

I am so tired of wearing shorts. I want to break out all my scarfs and sweaters! I love the fall about as much coffee, which is a lot. I love walking to glass with hot tea and boots. I am getting all excited just thinking about it. I am loving the animal sweater trend for this fall. I purchased two already and ripped jeans! Happy Friday!

Dorm Style

Here is my wonderful little dorm. I picked the bed by the window so I could snuggle in bed with my homework on rainy days. I made the fabric pictures on my wall, I'm not really sure what to call them. The walls are plane white so I tried to spice things up a bit with lots of patterns!

Krazy Day sales @ Edmond

All the locally owned shops in my town put on a big sale at the end of July called Krazy day sales. I alway score great deals. This year I got a black Ella Moss dress 75% off! I also score a comfy sweater and pillows for my dorm.  The trick to a good sale is arriving when the store opens for better variety of sizes, Starbuck or some kind of coffee, and also thinking of items you need in your closet so you wont just make an impulse buy since it is on sale. I have learned from experience!

College fashion

I recently went to the University of Oklahoma to pick out my schedule for school next year. I plan on majoring in Interior Design and can't wait to spend late nights in the studio with a non-fat latte. Here is my outfit I wore to schedule pick up day.

Birthdays and Clubs

My cousin was turning four this weekend and her simple pirate theme birthday party made me miss the purity of being a little one. Her birthday was well planned with a plank (thanks Pinterest), pirate booty, a pool, pinata, and than a visit from the ice cream man! On a much more grown up level I attended my first 18 year and up club this weekend! All in all they were both a blast!

Anthro Event: Help Moore

The recent Tornado's have taken a tole on us in Oklahoma. My grandma lost her home and I have been trying to keep her hopes high! But Anthropologie recently hosted an event to benefit the schools that were destroyed in the recent tornado. I had a blast with my best girl friends and here are my pictures of the event!

My moms high school reunion was this last weekend, which is, kinda funny since I just graduated high school. Here I am rocking my new favorite article of clothing ( a denim vest) and looking causal chic and ready to babysit as my mom looks fabulous.

Anthropolgie Inspiration

Happy June! I hope everyone is embrassing summer! I just had my finger nails painted a bright cheery color and picked up a good book to read! (Eat Pray Love, I know I am a little late to just be reading this book but I love it.) Here is an outfit I wore out and about one day and also to a dinner to celebrate my graduation high school! Thank goodness that is over!

Month in review: May 2013

Top left hand picture is of my new Kate Spade planner I received as a gift for graduation. This bright pink planner makes me feel like Elle Woods and that I can take on any task thrown at me in college. 

Top right hand picture is of my nannying. This is my little mini me and we are at the zoo!

Kitchen 324 is a new trendy restaurant in downtown OKC that I recently scoped out. If your ever here to watch the Thunder play defiantly have brunch there! 

Below the coffee picture is my best friend and I trying our luck at a bingo hall. Who knew that was so much fun?

The last picture is of my day and I. Her name is Thunder and she is half golden retriever/ yellow lab. I love her dearly.

How to shop like a Maxxinista

  I recently stopped by my local TJMax trying to find some good deals since I am on a budget! I was actually surprised by the good deals I  scoped out. But trust me it takes time and a good hour or two. So drink a grande iced coffee with a shot of sugar-free peppermint before you go (well thats my favorite Starbucks coffee anyway). Here is what I found with amazing prices! Though I was disappointed with how highly marked up their shoes were. Like give a girl a break!

I have been wanting more lose fitting graffic shirts lately to wear with my denim vest I recently purchased. So I lucked out when I found this Chaser shirt market down to $15 when normal it goes for around $57.00!

Next up is this darling Free People dress I scored for $40.00 when normally it is $148.00. A girl can never have to many dresses! 

Deal of the day goes to these bad boys which normally are $235.00 when I got them for... wait take a breath.... $25.00! They fit perfectly (Okay I have to have them hemmed because I am short but minus that). 

This top is Free People and it was still $40.00 but compared to $98.00. It was worth it though because the fit hug nicely.

Last up is these Betsey Johnson sunglasses I got to put in my pool bag. There were only $12.99 compared to $55.00

How to dress like a Free People catalog

Yesterday I received Free People's new catalog and it inspired my outfit today. Their clothes and vibe flows and is in touch with nature. Some of their clothes are super lose and you can loose their shape on the body. So to keep some shape I tided my lose top in the front. Tousle your hair and add a braid for the easy going vibe. But remember to always add a sense of your own style when taking inspiration from other designers!

What I am wearing: Free People Tank, Boutique silk shirt over the tank, True Religion shorts, and Gap sandals.
