Black and Blue

What I am wearing: Rich and Skinny velvet jacket, Splendid thermal, Joes Jeans pants, and Old Navy Boots. 

I finally found someone to take my picture with a professional camera. I am super excited and she is my new best friend so that's exciting too! I am currently attending The University of Oklahoma and the social norm here is to wear over sized t-shirts and leggings. So I stuck out a little bit today… But I can't compromise my fashion life to fit in!

Denim on Denim

What I am  wearing: Anthropologie jean jacket, Jcrew top, LOFT jeans, and Converse sneakers. 

I am a personal fan of the sock bun. It is easy going and fashionable. I am also becoming a fan of denim on denim as long as they are different shades. I am going to start posting pictures of my studio class for Interior design so I can show the design process as a first year! Stay warm!!

Trying Out Filters

What I am wearing: Anthropolgie jean jacket (similar) and cords, Forever21 Sweater, I made my scarf, and Kate Spade purse. 

I decided to try out a filter for once… Not sure if liked it! I wore this outfit to the first day on the job. I work at a local restaurant called Cool Greens and it basically just is a healthy, super urban salad place. I love it there!

Mom and Daughter date

What my mom is wearing: Paige denim, Patagonia vest, scarf made be me, and LOFT sweater.

I am wearing: SOLID cords, Free People boots, CWonder braclet, and Jcrew vest. 

    My mom and I decided to take a girls day which included working out, coffee run, and a little bit of thrift shopping where I scored some great stuff (Keep your eye out in later posts!), and we ended our day with friends and great food! It was a successful day of much needed girl time!

Causal New Years

What I am wearing: Old Navy Flannel, Jcrew Pixie pants, Louis Vuitton Speedy 30, and Scarf made by me! 

    My New Years day was casual. I had to babysit in the afternoon and just had luck with my family at a local pizza shop. So I kept my outfit comfy and casual! Happy New Years! I have decided to become a vegetarian so if I start posting my vegetarian recipes that is why! Also my resolution for 2014 is to wear more lipstick!
