My 20th birthday outfit, yippee! My mom and I said at the Adolphus in down town Dallas.

I would recommend it to anyone thinking about visiting Dallas. It is located downtown so places are walkable and easy access to the highway. I can not believe my teen years are over. But cheers to 20!

Birthday Trip!

For my 20 birthday my mom and I decided to drive down to downtown Dallas for a girls trip.

First stop, NorthPark center. This mall had so many stores that it took us two days to conquer all the stores and get the best deals! It was a great way to spend my birthday doing what I do best.

Take a Peak into My Summer

Nanny all day means lots of pool time,

lots of Yoga in down town OKC,

Fourth of July at Grand Lake,

summer means more flowers,

hard day at work? Have a cupcake,

new restaurant called Waffle Champion in Midtown OKC,

and my little sister turned four! 

Summer is flying by! Between working two jobs and taking summer classes I still make 

time to do some activities I enjoy! I am about to head out to Dallas with my mom for my birthday weekend. I am beyond excited!

These pants are my new favorite going out pants. I wore this outfit to birthday dinner for one of my friends. I added the green sandals for a pop of color on a mainly black and white outfit. Hope everyone had a happy fourth!

  I have been looking for a pair of silk black shorts for the summer and when one of my favorite bloggers Zipped did a blog post wearing some I trusted her judgement and ordered me a pair. Needless to say, I love them!

Eye•Bobs make me Sassy

I first saw these glasses in a Instagram post by GLAMOUR magazine and thought they were

very original and another plus was that I love velvet. These glasses are no longer available (they are called Velvet Underground) but Eye•Bobs has lots of other sassy styles!

I decided to feature my best friend in this post because her style is always an inspiration to me in that 

she stays true to her own style. She styled this outfit for a day at work. Her work is casual so she keeps things comfortable but polished. I am wearing one of my go-to, every day outfits. I love stripes and have a multitude of pieces in striped print!
